Music Director Virginia Moses does superb work not only leading the live pit, of which members are on the stage and one with the action, but also in getting some vocally powerful moments from the performers, particularly with very locked harmonies in “Holiday,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “21 Guns,” and “Whatsername.”
